A Family That Helps Kids Grow.
Meet Master Kang
When Master Kang was young, he was often shy, timid, and lacking confidence. Trying new things felt scary, and he struggled to believe in himself.
At just 4 years old, his mother enrolled him in Taekwondo in Korea. At first, he cried almost every day in class. But little by little, Taekwondo began to change his life.
Over time, he gained confidence, made friends, and stopped hiding behind his mother.
That experience became the foundation of his passion for helping children grow through martial arts.
Master Kang went on to train as a competitive Taekwondo athlete throughout elementary school, middle school, and high school, eventually winning multiple championships, including an International Taekwondo Championship in Turkey.
After earning certifications in physical education and working with children in Korea, he moved to the United States to continue his dream of teaching martial arts.
Since opening ABBA Martial Arts in Peachtree City in 2012 with his wife, Ms. Tasha, Master Kang has helped hundreds of children build confidence, focus, discipline, and leadership — both on and off the mat.
